Anne McDonald: Tonight, I'm pleased to introduce Jeff Gerke, the publisher for Marcher Lord Press. Jeff, thank you so much for coming tonight.

Anne McDonald: Please tell us about Marcher Lord Press and what you hope to accomplish.
Jeff Gerke: Marcher Lord Press, the Official Publisher of the Revolution, baby. MLP has been a dream of mine for several years. Ever since I came to understand how few works of Christian speculative fiction (specfic) were getting published. I thought, there ought to be someone doing something about that.
I worked within the system to try to make the change. I was an editor at Multnomah Publishers at the time. (I had previously published three novels of my own—under the name Jefferson Scott—with Multnomah.) So I worked at Multnomah to expand the boundaries of Christian speculative fiction, but got little accomplished.
Then I went freelance for awhile, during which time I wrote my second trilogy of novels.
