Title: Bedtime In The Southwest Author: Mona Hodgson Publisher: Rising Moon ISBN: 0-87358-871-1 Genre: Children/Fiction/Picture Book
No child likes to go to bed. And it’s no different for southwest critters. Just like little boys and girls, they find reasons not to go to sleep, like poking quills in their pillows or wanting nectar from their favorite flower. Beautiful illustration compliment the storyline, and laughs await youngsters at every turn of the page. Told in an amusing rhyme, this story is perfect for a bedtime story in the southwest, or anywhere else for that matter.
I really enjoyed all the hilarious excuses the animals made up. I also loved all the detail in the pictures. I could see a little of myself in each of the characters, and I would most definitely give Bedtime In The Southwest a perfect ten!
