Title: Demon, A Memoir Author: Tosca Lee Publisher: NavPress ISBN: 1-60006-123-0 Genre: Inspirational/Contemporary/Fiction
Clayton is a fiction editor for a publishing company. He likes his job, but his personal life is a mess. His wife left him for another man and he’s having a hard time dealing with the aftermath.
One night he walks into his favorite restaurant and finds a dark haired stranger waiting for him. The man introduces himself as Lucian, a demon, one of the fallen angels who fell from heaven with Lucifer. Lucien wants Clay to write his story, and a strange story it is; creation, the nativity, crucifixion, and resurrection, told from a demon’s point of view.
Demon fascinated me. It made me think, and gave me a new perspective on stories I thought I knew by heart. It’s a provocative book, powerful, even disturbing at times. One you’ll remember long after you finish reading it.
