Kenneth Poppe exposes Darwinism’s flaw—the science just isn’t ‘there. A growing body of work by reputable scientists reveal the truth—the blind luck so necessary to Darwinism could never do the impossible. There has been a lot said and written about the differences between strict Darwinism and Intelligent design. It has been falsely accused that the acceptance of design will bring scientific research in any field to a jarring halt. But design merely states that the processes which scientists are trying to unlock are too complex and too well designed to be the result of chance.
Poppe uses straightforward facts and the helpful charts to show why strict Darwinism doesn’t work. He covers all the claims of Darwinism, including the possibility of life on other planets. There aren’t many scripture references here because this is first and foremost a scientific book. However, Kenneth Poppe states clearly his belief in God and his conviction that God is the creator of the universe. To quote him, “The only workable answer to the age of rocks is the Rock of Ages.”
A career biology instructor, Poppe has taught in secondary schools for twenty-five years. He holds a doctorate in education and has assisted in DNA research of stream ecology. He is also director of the International Foundation for Science Education By Design. Reclaiming Science from Darwinism is a well-written, thought-provoking treatment of a controversial subject. After reading the book, the reader will have a better understanding of the irreconcilable differences between the theory of natural evolution and the science of intelligent design. It deserves a place on your bookshelf. |
