Genre: Inspirational/Romantic/Suspense

Sonsee LeBlanc’s father has just been murdered. Her father’s housekeeper claims she saw Taylor Delaney leaving the room just before the body is discovered. And the gun is traced to Taylor. But Sonsee knows her long time love is innocent.

Taylor has been accused of a crime he didn’t commit before. He almost went to jail because a crooked sheriff wanted to protect his own son. Taylor has no intentions of allowing that to happen again. To keep from going to jail, Taylor allows Sonsee and her six best friends to hide him.

Someone wants Taylor dead. They are prepared to go to any length to see it happen. If he’s dead, the search for the killer will stop. Taylor and Sonsee suspect someone in Sonsee’s own family killed her father, but whom? None of them seem a likely suspect, and yet all of them had motives.

As the search for the murderer intensifies, Sonsee discovers a family secret, a hidden key, and a secret chamber. The killer will stop at nothing to protect himself and his motives. Is it too late for Taylor and Sonsee?

Even though A Shelter In the Storm is book three in the Seven Sisters series, it easily stands alone. It is a great story and you will fall in love with Sonsee and Taylor, hoping the real killer will be found. This story is a must for your summer reading list.
