About Eloise Schroder, Webmaster of The Christian Fiction Site:
Ellie has loved Christian fiction for many years, after being introduced to it back in 1990. She developed "The Christian
Fiction Site" back in 1998 under the former title "Ellie's World of Christian Fiction" after seeing the need for an online
resource site for readers to become more familiar with Christian fiction titles on the market. Since then, she has maintained
the site in her own spare time, as well as juggling a full-time job with GPH Wholesale, a distributor of Christian literature, and being
part of the worship team in her local church. Ellie lives in Palmerston North, New Zealand, with Dion, her husband of
more than 10 years.
Journey with Bella as she establishes a new life for herself
Experience drama, romance and intrigue in one of America's early industrial settlements. In this second volume of the
Bells of Lowell series, the story picks up with two Shaker girls who make a break from the life they’ve known for a new
beginning working in the textile mills of Lowell, Massachusetts. Accustomed to a life of equality between men and women,
Bella and Daughtie are shocked to discover life in the outside world not quite so lenient towards women. Eager to set
things right, Bella strives to forge a place for women in a society dominated by men, while trying to fight off the
advances of heartbreaker Taylor Manning and gain a foothold in her new life of independence. In the midst of all this,
girls are going missing from the Irish settlement, and rumours of an uprising cause tempers to flare and rationality to
cease. It’ll take more than a few level heads to cool things down, especially when girls from the mills start to
disappear as well… A FRAGILE DESIGN is a riveting sequel to the story started in
DAUGHTER OF THE LOOM.

Historical/Romance
Peterson and Miller once again make a great writing team!
The third book in the Bells of Lowell series captures the story of Daughtie as she fights for the equality of every citizen,
regardless of heritage. From the implications of her association with an Irish worker to her stand of beliefs due to workplace
conditions, her growth as a woman of independence is tested, as well as her faith. And as friendship grows to love, she risks
losing the friendships she’s held dear since her new life in Lowell began. In the space a few short years, Daughtie has emerged
as a strong young woman, capable of making her own decisions…. even ones that those closest to her would view as serious mistakes.
A must read for those who have already come to love
DAUGHTER OF THE LOOM and
A FRAGILE DESIGN,
and those who value historical fiction.
