    Ellie Schroder
About Eloise Schroder, Webmaster of The Christian Fiction Site:
Ellie has loved Christian fiction for many years, after being introduced to it back in 1990. She developed "The Christian Fiction Site" back in 1998 under the former title "Ellie's World of Christian Fiction" after seeing the need for an online resource site for readers to become more familiar with Christian fiction titles on the market. Since then, she has maintained the site in her own spare time, as well as juggling a full-time job with GPH Wholesale, a distributor of Christian literature, and being part of the worship team in her local church. Ellie lives in Palmerston North, New Zealand, with Dion, her husband of more than 10 years.

    . . . Freedom's Path . . .

    By Judith McCoy Miller

#1: First Dawn (2005) Bethany House Publishers
Assurances of "real" freedom lure sharecropper Ezekial Harban and his daughters away from the war-torn South to Nicodemus, Kansas. But the reality betrays the promise. When Dr. Boyle comes from Hill City to deliver a baby in Nicodemus, he's dismayed by the conditions and vows to help. And neither town will ever be the same!
#2: Morning Sky (2006) Bethany House Publishers
Nothing will ever be the same after boisterous Aunt Lilly arrives in the new settlement of Nicodemus, Kansas, in the early summer of 1880. Her brother-in-law is not at all happy to see her, and her unwillingness to admit the reason behind her hasty exit from New Orleans only fuels the fire.
#2: Morning Sky (2006) Bethany House Publishers
Truth Wyman doesn't want to live anywhere except Nicodemus, Kansas. But when her husband is elected to statewide office, he wants her with him in Topeka. Hoping to keep her family nearby, Truth begins a matchmaking scheme that could backfire. Will she alienate her sister Grace and the men who've brought the railroad---and prosperity---to Nicodemus?
