People compete locally, the winners in each city or town compete county-wide, then region-wide.   • May 18, 3036 - Birdtown - Canary Karoke Contest - Canaries from around the Birdtown area will compete in a Canary Karaoke Contest. Songs include some of your favorite hits from canary singers like Kiwi Lemonwing, Sunny McTweet, and more! The prize is a three day, two night trip to the Fire Islands for two, including first-class air-fare, $500 spending cash, a rental car, and a private suite in the famous, five-star Beachside Resort.   • Badgerville - An otter reported that his credit card had been stolen, and recently was found to be used on the Fire Islands. Police are investigating.
  • Whiskerville - A female peacock discovered that over the night, her garden flamingos had disappeared.
  • Moleville - A mole reported that he accidentally left his PDA, coat, and tie on a table at a restaurant and went home. When he realized his mistake and returned, he found that the items had been removed.
  • Cattown - Someone reportadly threw several stones at an elderly lady's car, breaking the rear window and denting the back of the car.
  • Arthropodia - Witnesses say that a group of teenaged cockroaches were deflating car tires in the parking lot in front of the Ugly Bug Mall.
  • Ottercove - An unidentified otter dressed as a jaintor was arrested for stealing live crabs from a local Sea Port Restaurant.
  • Rabbittown - A DFX truck loaded with over $80,000 worth of packages was hijacked from in front of a residential home. The truck was found empty 30 miles away. Police are searching the truck for evidence.

  • Birdtown - A canary resident got "into" his food, and his beak became encrusted with corn. Mouse rescue workers had to use water to loosen the corn and pick it off.
  • Badgerville - Another elephant got his trunk knotted when sneezing. Rescue workers were able to untie it in time.
  • Dragonlair - A penguin skier got caught in an avalanche. He was found a few hours later by a search and rescue team.
