Review

Based on the book by Christopher Paolini. Once, the beautiful land of Alagaesia was protected by mighty Dragon Riders. Now those days are over, and the land is under the rule of the evil King Galbatorix, a former Rider turned evil. Assisted by a Shade, an evil sorcerer possesed by a demon, Galbatorix holds everyone in a grip of fear.

All hope seems lost, until a dragon egg is stolen from him, and found by a 17 year old farm boy named Eragon. The egg hatches to him, and the newborn dragon, Saphira, chooses him as her Rider. With the help of Brom, another former Dragon Rider, Eragon and Saphira embark on a quest to save their beloved land from King Galbatrorix. Eragon and Saphira must learn to set aside their own pride, and learn to listen to their mentor. One foolish choice and everything is lost.

I recommed this movie to teenages and up. DO NOT TAKE YOUNGER CHILDREN! The scary elements will most likely give them nightmares.
