MEAT THEFT: A police camera catches Hardy Hyena of Scale Flats guarding the stolen refrigerator cars.
Badgerville - Hardy Hyena of Scale Flats sits behind bars today for allegedly derailing an eastbound B& R train and stealing three refrigerator cars carrying a total of nearly 50,000 pounds of fresh cut meat. The train engineer, George M. Fox told Badgerville police that he heard a crash towards the back of the train around 3 a.m. but he was unable to see what went wrong. "I radioed one of
our crewmen to check," he said, "but it was too dark to see and no one noticed the cars were gone until it we pulled into Badgerville."
Once the train had stopped, crewmen discovered that three refrigerator cars were missing.
Badgerville police called Sheriff's deputies to help them track suspect's paw prints to his cave hideout in the north woods. Nearby they found the missing refrigerator cars.
Deputy Wolff quickly hatched a plan to catch the culprit.
"I almost jumped out of my skin when I heard a howl," stated Hyena as he sat behind bars, "I never expected the cops to find me all the way out here. I just knew that I should've hidden those cars."
Trial will begin Saturday evening with Judge P.M. Owl presiding. If convicted, Hyena is expected to get a twenty-five-year prison sentence and a $10,000 fine.

knowing that it was produced illegally and at the expense of so many eels," said Elijah Eelworth, owner of the Eelworth computer company. "I hope the eels responsible for this crime stay in jail for a long time."
A trial will be held next Wednesday for Moray and Bottom-dweller at the Eelville Courthouse. Trial starts at 10:00 am with Judge Spark presiding.
Eelville- Eli Moray and Wolff Bottom-dweller were arrested today for owning and operating a secret sweatshop. Over 500 electric eels had been captured and forced to create enough electricity for Eelville.
"I'm sure glad I'm free now," said Buzz Lightbulb, one of the electric eels held captive at the power plant. "It sure was tiring having to produce all that power."
"We simply wanted to take advantage of one of the natural resources we had available," said Moray. "I don't see what the big deal is. And besides, they only had to produce a hundred watts an hour."
The Eelville mayor felt otherwise. "It is not civil to force citizens to produce that much power without pay. Slave labor is illegal in this city, and I don't know of any place in Animalia that does allow it. It's outrageous!"
Inside the power plant, police found metal cuffs that were strapped around each eel. The cuffs were attached to cords that connected to the main power cable."I feel slimy about my company using so much power,

CRACK-DOWN: Eelville Police storm the Eelville Power Plant and arrest two eels for inducing forced labor on over 500 electric eels.
